The SKFA Star Award Scheme is designed to replicate our own thoughts on the future of young players coming into the academy. Eveyone will be able to achieve success in every area of the award scheme, and each level of success is rewarded with a different star.
We offer individual assessments on the children's progress across the school term, as well as using the Star Award Scheme and other schemes to progress the GIFTED AND TALENTED children amongst your school.
In short , the SKFA Star Award Scheme works on five basic principles, the aim of these is to create a feeling of success whatever the ability of the child, if the child feels they are achieving then they are happy and eager to learn more.
Below are some key points of the scheme but for further details please contact us.
Coaches award gold Stars each time a student completes one of the key stages of a principle.
Coaches ask questions and set challenges for the student to overcome, the challenges are judged by the coach and set to the student's ability.
Star award certificates are held by the coach until the student has achieved all their stars.
The Star Award Scheme is a multi-level award, allowing the child to build an impressive portfolio to be proud of.
Coaches assess the ability of each child allowing any child to achieve success, eliminating peer pressure.
Anyone can win a star.
The Star Award Scheme is not solely based on sport.

Level 1 Star Award Scheme certificate.
This is our new scheme for key stage 10 and above. Children are awarded by working towards a grading system. The principles are the same but instead of winning stars the student wins a coloured band for each level achieved.
To aid our students with the scheme we have produced a Healthy Living Pack.
It is a basic guide to living a healthy lifestyle. It's full of tips on nutrition, sleeping, resting and exercise. The pack is given to each student and comes in a plastic wallet for them to keep.
Both of the SKFA award scheme's " the star award scheme and Band scheme are copyright protected, They are partern pending and we have presented these to the FA.
